Rupee revived by Raghuram Rajan as carry trade favourite

 Reserve Bank of India (RBI) governor Raghuram Rajan has turned the rupee from a pariah to the world’s favourite currency after just a month in office as he intensifies efforts to quell inflation and lure capital.
